The module ensures that the customer will only get cookies if this has been accepted. GDPR states that the customer must be able to delete cookies as easily as it was accepting them. The module provides a link that can put in the privacy policy so the customer can delete the created cookies. For PrestaShop 1.7 installs the link is automatically created in the block "Your account".
The module must be installed - then it works. It is also possible to select the CMS link that describes the shop's cookie policy.
